OFFICIAL BOIL ORDER NOTICE Sangamon Valley Public Water District
March 17, 2026The Sangamon Valley Public Water District has issued an official boil order, effective immediately, for the following area within Candlewood Mobile Home Park.
AFFECTED AREA:North Side of Wayne Street and South Side of Logan Street
If you reside on the North Side of Wayne Street or the South Side of Logan Street within Candlewood Mobile Home Park, you are required to boil your water for a minimum of five (5) minutes before use for the following:
Drinking water
Ice production
Tooth brushing
Dishwashing
Food preparation
Please note: This boil order DOES NOT affect all residents of Candlewood Mobile Home Park, only those located on the North Side of Wayne Street and the South Side of Logan Street.
We are actively monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available. The boil order will be lifted once water quality testing confirms all safety standards have been met.
