2027 Consolidated Election Pre-Filing Notice

Notice is hereby given that the Sangamon Valley Public Water District (SVPWD) will have candidate packets available weekdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm beginning August 25, 2026. The following offices will appear on the 2027 Consolidated Election ballot to be held on April 6, 2027:

Completed petitions need to be filed with the SVPWD Board Secretary at the SVPWD Office at 709 N. Prairieview Rd, Mahomet during the following times:

• First day to file: Monday, November 16, 2026 – 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Tuesday, November 17, 2026 – 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm
• Wednesday, November 18, 2026 – 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm
• Thursday, November 19, 2026 – 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm
• Friday, November 20, 2026 – 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm
• Last day to file: Monday, November 23, 2026 – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
